9 Day Executive Education Holiday “TOTAL ROME” - Description & Calendar

Program Overview


Eternal City Education’s 9 day “TOTAL ROME” adult study abroad course program is designed for adult professionals of all ages. Its focus is Business, Politics, Economics, Art, Engineering, and Technology. A chronologically set Itinerary led by one of Eternal City Education's lecturers will take the group on a journey through the key episodes of Roman history. During the course an outline of the political, economic and military strategies employed both by Rome and against Rome will be compared directly to their 21st century parallels. Roman art, engineering and society will be discussed as well as an emphasis on Roman innovations with questions like: 

  1. How did the Romans come to be?
  2. What was their impact on technology, art and society?
  3. How do these innovations also relate to the 21st century?

Our group size is no more than ten adults (SPACE IS LIMITED) so as to best facilitate interaction between the ECE professor and the group as well as to create opportunities for people of like-minded interests to work together. To avoid disappointment, SIGN UP now

Best Price

The prices for this program are:
  • $2500.00 USD per person with accommodation
  • $1500.00 USD per person without accommodation
  • $4000.00 USD per couple with accommodation
  • $2800.00 USD per couple without accommodation

Includes: 9 nights Hotel Accommodation, Airport Pick up and Drop off, ECE MAP, Museum and Archaeological entrance fees, Day Trip Transportation, Guided Lectures and Outlines, and Evening Activities.

Does not include: Air fare to and from Rome, Meals, Travel Insurance, Laundry Service etc.

Itinerary of 9 day "TOTAL ROME" program - Lectures and Sites

  • Each program begins the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of May, June, July, August, September and October.
  • Participants may opt to Fly in a day early or arrive by another mode of transportation continuing their vacation. If such is case please inform us so we can make the proper arraignments for your arrival
  • An outline will be distributed each day by the instructor at beginning of each days Guided Lecture. (This outline contains: the names and dates of key historic figures, summaries of historic events, Roman Innovations, Roman Strategies, and examples of contemporary parallels.)

Morning Arrival.
  • Arrival times for flights vary but each is met with airport pick-up, transport to Hotel and a Brief Orientation with ECE City Map and Itinerary (Complete with Hotel location, Restaurant, Cafe and Bar recommendations, Meeting Points for the Groups Guided Lectures, ECE Contact Information, and Emergency Numbers)
